Tower Yearbook
Social media management and campaign planning
A social media strategy created to help Tower Yearbook build a stronger presence across campus, increase student awareness, and encourage more students to participate in the yearbook.
The project focused on creating a more consistent content system, developing student-centered campaigns, and using social media to make the yearbook feel more relevant and connected to campus life.
The goal
Create an organized and engaging social presence that promotes the yearbook, highlights campus experiences, and gives students more reasons to contribute photos, stories, and memories.
What I worked on
Social media strategy
Developed a clear direction for how Tower Yearbook could communicate with students and maintain a more recognizable presence throughout the academic year.
Content planning
Created post ideas and recurring content themes centered on campus events, student organizations, yearbook deadlines, photo submissions, and behind-the-scenes coverage.
Campaign planning
Developed promotional ideas designed to increase awareness, encourage submissions, and remind students why being included in the yearbook matters.
Team coordination
Helped organize weekly brainstorming, assign content responsibilities, coordinate photo coverage, and keep the social media team aligned.
The outcome
The strategy gave Tower Yearbook a stronger foundation for planning content, promoting important deadlines, and connecting the yearbook more closely to the student experience.
